  19. NO NO NO NO NO NO!  These features are what is desirable to NOT have in an OS.
  20. The reason modern OS's as you put it, have these features is because the
  21. software is badly written and *bloated*.  All of these features, as you say,
  22. slow down a system.  If the computer and OS is designed well you shouldn't
  23. need them.  This is why the AmigaOS is VERY VERY GOOD.
